About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Creation and review of test specifications for the verification and validation of product requirements for safety-relevant application software
Identification of typical user workflows and potential user errors
Mapping these into formal test case descriptions
Systematic creation of test cases based on a test strategy, e.g., generation of boundary cases and coverage analysis
Implementation and debugging of test procedures in Robot and Squish, and integration into the CI/CD environment
Analysis of failure cases and creation of problem reports in the change management system (RTC)

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in a relevant field or completed training as an IT specialist (Fachinformatiker) with several years of professional experience
Several years of experience testing application software with graphical user interfaces
Several years of experience with Robot, Python and Squish for end-to-end testing
Experience with systematic methods for testing software at the user level and experience in user experience (UX) testing
Knowledge of testing safety-relevant systems, preferably including experience with BSI approval procedures
Excellent spoken and written German required.
