About the role
- Develop and maintain a robust and scalable test automation framework with a focus on API and software platform testing in a distributed systems environment.
- Design and execute automated tests (e.g., API, integration, E2E) to validate the functionality, scalability, performance and security of platform services and APIs.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Support platform teams with integrating and executing their own automated tests.
- Develop test strategies and test plans.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or a comparable field.
- ISTQB certification required.
- Experience in designing, developing and implementing test automation frameworks with a strong focus on API, integration and E2E testing.
- Experience testing complex distributed systems and microservice architectures.
- Ideally, experience with Kubernetes and containerization (Docker).
- Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Postman, Integrate, Swagger UI, RestAssured, JUnit, TestNG, Robot Framework).
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python).
- Very good spoken and written German required.
