About the role

  • Build AI-based and web-based experiences to guarantee network performance
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX and domain experts to construct workflows
  • Design performant storage and delivery systems (e.g., ClickHouse)
  • Prompt engineering and fine-tuning LLMs for networking use cases
  • Analyze web and API performance and propose optimizations
  • Design and build systems to facilitate data exchange between cloud storages
  • Potential to lead 6–12 month initiatives with 2–4 engineers and cross-functional collaboration
  • Contribute across languages, platforms, and all levels of the Meraki stack

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience writing professional production code
  • 5+ years of experience in web languages, frameworks and technologies (Ruby on Rails, Python, JavaScript, postgres, clickhouse)
  • Experience with LLMs and non-deterministic systems
  • Driven by creating excellent user experiences and extendable, reliable, well-tested code
  • Agile, flexible and able to prioritize must-haves
  • Experience and interest in mentorship
  • Strong collaboration skills and excellent project management
  • Value working in a fun-spirited, diverse, international team
