About the role

  • Analysis and processing of 3D point clouds (PCD, STL formats)
  • Automatic extraction of relevant information (cant, condition of fasteners)
  • Development and integration of 3D signal processing algorithms
  • Implementation of Deep Learning methods (PointNet) for classification and detection
  • Validation of results by comparison with reference measurements
  • Technical documentation of developed work

Requirements

  • Master’s degree level (Bac+5) in computer science, signal processing, computer vision, or equivalent engineering school
  • Final year of a Master 2 program or engineering school (end-of-study internship)
  • Strong proficiency in Python
  • Knowledge of 3D image processing and point cloud analysis
  • Familiarity with PCD and STL formats
  • Experience with or knowledge of Open3D, OpenCV
  • Understanding of Deep Learning applied to 3D data (PointNet, PointPillars…)
  • Basic knowledge of 3D metrology appreciated
