About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Monitor daily execution indicators: WMAPE, service level, inventory position and open orders;
  • Identify and address deviations between the plan and execution, engaging the responsible teams promptly;
  • Provide weekly visibility to sales, production and logistics on operational constraints and priorities;
  • Lead the full S&OP cycle from demand review to the executive meeting, ensuring alignment between sales, operations and finance;
  • Develop and refine demand forecasting models based on historical data, market intelligence and industry seasonality;
  • Monitor and manage inventory policies (safety stock, reorder point, turnover), preventing stockouts and excess inventory;
  • Mediate conflicts between departments with differing objectives, proposing a balanced solution grounded in financial and operational impact;
  • Connect the S&OP cycle to financial planning, ensuring operational decisions are aligned with the budget and the company’s strategic goals;
  • Build long-term scenarios (capacity, investment, portfolio) to support senior leadership decisions;
  • Continuously evolve the planning process toward IBP maturity, proposing improvements in methodology, tools and governance;
  • Create and present dashboards and performance reports to leadership with actionable recommendations;
  • Interact with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure availability of inputs and efficiency across the supply chain.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics or related fields;
  • Postgraduate degree or MBA in Supply Chain, Logistics or Industrial Management;
  • Experience with specialized S&OP/IBP tools;
  • Experience with S&OE in high-complexity industrial operations;
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Python or SQL for data analysis and automation;
  • Experience in continuous process industries.
