About the role

  • Support the execution of CIETEC program activities, ensuring that established objectives are met.
  • Conduct detailed analyses of the innovation landscape, agribusiness, and/or innovative entrepreneurship, identifying collaboration opportunities between the productive sector, startups, and state R&D institutes in São Paulo.
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with representatives from the agribusiness sector, research institutes, government agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement strategies to facilitate collaboration among parties, including organizing workshops, meetings, and events to promote knowledge exchange and best practices.
  • Design and support the implementation of technology challenge events (hackathons and ideathons), and assist in delivering mobilization and training events.
  • Execute project activities, monitoring milestones, deadlines, and budgets, ensuring the delivery of high-quality results within the established timeline.
  • Support multidisciplinary teams by providing guidance and assistance to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Conduct risk analyses and implement appropriate measures to mitigate potential issues.
  • Prepare progress reports, accountability documents, performance analyses, and other relevant documentation to communicate project status to key stakeholders.
  • Track technological advances and sector trends, identifying opportunities to promote innovation and development in the area.
  • Monitor startups and innovative solutions supported by the programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, Agricultural Sciences, or related fields such as innovation management, business administration, or similar. Postgraduate education is a plus.
  • Proven experience in project management, whether or not focused on agribusiness, and in innovation management, including development and implementation of plans, performance monitoring, and team coordination—preferably with experience in partnerships between the productive sector and research institutes and in promoting cooperation among research organizations.
  • Solid knowledge of the agribusiness value chain, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Knowledge of the Brazilian startup ecosystem, including trends, challenges, opportunities, and key organizations active in the field.
  • Technical knowledge and/or interest in innovative business models, pitching, valuation, design thinking, venture capital, UX, innovation management, and/or marketing will be considered an advantage.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and influence diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems creatively.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain strategic relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented with leadership skills and the ability to work autonomously.
