About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner directly with Engineering leaders to drive execution of critical initiatives across multiple engineering teams and TPM organizations.
- Coordinate partner engineering and data center operations teams across hardware, software, infrastructure, and operations.
- Facilitate recurring syncs, maintain dependency and risk registers, and drive cross-team decisions to closure.
- Translate technical status into leadership-consumable reporting.
- Track testbed readiness, dependencies, NPI schedules, and entry/exit criteria.
- Coordinate hardware/software readiness, test execution, and bug resolution before rollout.
- Align NPI build, validation, and qualification milestones with fleet deployment dates and identify schedule risk.
- Lead end-to-end software deployment workflows for new site activations and customized cluster turnup.
- Design, build, and maintain observability dashboards for cluster health, turnup milestones, deployment velocity, gate status, defect aging, and capacity.
- Oversee data center physical readiness, rack/stack validation, cabling, power/cooling infrastructure validation, and site handoffs.
- Manage physical site dependencies, site acceptance testing, and construction-to-operations handovers.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison between data center operators, construction teams, and infrastructure engineering teams.
- Coordinate action items, deliverables, milestones, program metrics, status updates, and leadership reports.
- Create and maintain program timelines, execution trackers, dashboards, and reporting frameworks.
- Monitor program health, identify risks, and drive mitigation plans.
- Operationalize strategic initiatives, improve execution processes, and support program governance and operational reviews.
- Improve cross-team communication, process efficiency, and organizational alignment across concurrent technical workstreams.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Engineering Program Management, or related leadership roles.
- 8+ years of experience with data center hardware, compute, networking, storage infrastructure, and large-scale systems operations.
- Strong understanding of software development processes, Agile/SCRUM methodologies, and release management practices.
- Experience supporting large-scale software and hardware engineering programs.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience creating executive-level status reports, program dashboards, and operational tracking systems.
- Proven ability to drive execution and alignment in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and operational excellence.
- Preferred: experience supporting large-scale AI infrastructure deployments, including networking, deployment sequencing, operational validation, readiness assessments, GPU cluster deployment, and custom silicon platform management.
- Preferred: prior experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or large-scale cloud technology organizations.
- Preferred: experience partnering with engineering executives and senior leadership teams.
- Preferred: familiarity with infrastructure operations, data center environments, and hyperscale systems.
- Preferred: experience driving strategic operational programs across distributed engineering organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field required.
