About the role
- Provide supervisory oversight of SAIL case managers delivering suicide-risk assessment, safety planning, and ongoing support to Sailors
- Ensure adherence to Navy clinical standards and SECNAVINST 1754.8 and SAIL program protocols
- Conduct quality assurance reviews of clinical documentation and case management activities
- Support case managers with high-risk or complex cases and provide clinical guidance
- Coordinate with Navy leadership to evaluate program performance and address service gaps
Requirements
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, marriage/family therapy, or doctoral degree in psychology
- Active, unrestricted independent clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, Psychologist)
- 4+ years of post-graduate clinical experience, including 2+ years post-licensure
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass background investigation
- Reside within 100 miles of one of the listed cities
- Preferred: Experience supervising clinical case managers or behavioral health staff
- Preferred: Knowledge of suicide prevention programs and military behavioral health systems
