Key responsibilities & impact

Work as a Mid-level Kotlin Backend Developer
Participate in the entire lifecycle, from feature conception through testing, production deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement
Deliver services supporting the products of one of Brazil’s largest banks
Resolve bugs and incidents and conduct technical analyses
Propose improvements
Develop unit, functional, and performance tests
Instrument applications to extract performance information, logs, and metrics

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with object-oriented languages: Java, JavaScript (BFF), and Kotlin
Knowledge of microservices architecture
Knowledge of TDD, DDD, Clean Code, and Hexagonal Architecture
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL
Knowledge of the HTTP/HTTPS protocols
Experience with Git, Git Flow, and Swagger
Ability to resolve technical issues (bugs, incidents, and analyses) within appropriate timeframes and propose improvements
Experience developing unit, functional, and performance tests
Ability to instrument applications to extract performance information, logs, and metrics (Sonar, Grafana)
Proactive approach, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset with the team and client
Commitment to following the policies and processes defined by the client
[Optional] Knowledge of Spring Boot and/or Javalin
[Optional] Familiarity with NoSQL databases
[Optional] Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
[Optional] Familiarity with Apigee Hybrid, Google Cloud, Node.js, and AWS platforms
