About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead end-to-end solution design, focusing on microservices, REST/GraphQL APIs and integrations in distributed systems
Act as the primary technical reference for backend and mobile engineering teams and vendors
Guide adoption of best practices, design patterns and architectural standards
Conduct technical studies for build vs. buy decisions and technology evaluations, including RFPs and PoCs
Identify, manage and mitigate technical debt and platform risks
Communicate technical concepts in architecture forums and executive presentations
Collaborate continuously with Enterprise Architecture
Ensure excellence, scalability, continuous evolution and strategic alignment of financial solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience as a Solution Architect with strong backend expertise (Java, Kotlin or similar)
Solid familiarity with mobile architectures (iOS/Android)
Deep knowledge of Clean Architecture, Hexagonal Architecture, DDD and SOLID principles
Hands-on experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Redis
Proficiency with HTTP/HTTPS and messaging/event solutions, including SNS, SQS, Kafka and RabbitMQ
Ability to lead complex technical discussions and present architectural concepts to diverse audiences
Experience with GIT/Git Flow and API documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI
Plus: experience with GCP, AWS or Azure, IaC, Docker, Kubernetes, event-driven architectures, streaming, Apigee Hybrid, Grafana, Datadog, TOGAF, GoLang, ISO 27001 and Scrum/Kanban
