About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the end-to-end test strategy and execution
Define and maintain test plans, traceability, and entry/exit criteria
Write and execute automated functional, regression, and exploratory tests
Collaborate on shared test suites, focusing on API tests in Postman and reviewing automation scripts
Integrate and monitor tests within CI/CD pipelines using a shift-left approach
Coordinate with DevOps on test data and environments, managing fixtures and stubs
Log detailed, reproducible bug reports and assist in defect triage
Provide test results and release readiness reports to stakeholders
Leverage AI to enhance testing processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with Playwright/JavaScript automation framework
Experience with JMeter for backend automation
Understanding of the testing pyramid and Smoke, UI, API, Regression, and Accessibility testing
Knowledge of metrics, dashboards, and QA reporting tools
Familiarity with Git, SQL, Postman, and Jira/Scrum processes
Basic knowledge of CI/CD and Continuous Validation pipelines
Strong communication skills with ability to present to leadership
Upper-intermediate English proficiency or above
Ability to multitask under pressure
Experience with JMeter for load/performance testing (nice to have)
Ability to configure initial automation projects (nice to have)
Experience in performance testing and automation project setup (nice to have)
