About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and implement microservice systems using intermediate architectural patterns such as Microservice Patterns and event-driven architectures.
Develop autonomously in Java/Kotlin, using standard libraries and advanced features such as Streams and modern APIs.
Intermediate expertise in advanced Spring Boot configurations (conditional configuration, profiles, security, transactions).
Create and manage reactive streams using frameworks such as Reactor or WebFlux.
Design and manage relational and non-relational schemas, perform optimizations and understand execution plans.
Configure centralized logging using tools such as the ELK Stack and Datadog.
Produce detailed documentation, including endpoints, payloads, response codes and examples.
Implement intermediate resilience techniques such as circuit breakers, retries and timeouts.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid understanding and hands-on experience with microservices-based architectures.
Intermediate knowledge of Java/Kotlin, including Streams and modern APIs.
Intermediate mastery of Spring Boot and its advanced configurations.
Practical experience building reactive systems with specific frameworks.
Experience designing database schemas, writing advanced queries and performing optimizations.
Implementation of centralized logging and familiarity with market-standard tools.
Clear and detailed technical API documentation skills.
Practical techniques for resilience and stability of distributed systems.
