About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Translate digital event data (web/app) into user behavior models
  • Develop exploratory and advanced analyses to identify patterns, journeys, and friction points
  • Produce actionable insights that influence product, marketing, and customer experience decisions
  • Formulate and execute analytical hypotheses, ensuring validation through testing and experimentation
  • Design, develop, and scale Machine Learning and AI models focused on behavior and personalization
  • Implement experimentation strategies (A/B testing, causal inference, uplift modeling)
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and analytics squads to ensure proper instrumentation and data quality
  • Evolve frameworks and methodologies for measuring behavior and the impact of initiatives
  • Support data democratization, ensuring clarity and understanding of generated insights

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Solid experience as a Data Scientist (senior level)
  • Strong expertise in digital behavioral data analysis (front-end events, tracking, user journey)
  • Advanced experience with:
  • Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow)
  • SQL (query performance and analytical modeling)
  • Supervised and unsupervised Machine Learning
  • Predictive modeling and behavioral segmentation
  • Time series analysis and journey analytics
  • Experience with tracking and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe, Tealium, Snowplow, etc.)
  • Proficiency in experimentation techniques and causal inference
  • Familiarity with cloud data environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Experience applying Artificial Intelligence to user behavior, including:
  • Recommender systems
  • Personalization at scale
  • Predictive models for churn, conversion, and engagement
  • Experience with deep learning or generative models
  • Experience working in digital product or growth teams
  • Knowledge of event-driven data architecture
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, executive-level narratives
  • Investigative mindset, hypothesis-driven approach
