About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Serve as the squad leader in the Scrum Master role, with a key role in strategic data engineering and data science projects within the Data Intelligence department of a large financial institution.
Work on data projects.
Facilitate and coordinate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog and portfolio meetings, sprint reviews, retrospectives and daily stand-ups, as well as track agile requests.
Ensure effective communication between the team and stakeholders, especially business units, and support the team in understanding and applying agile methodologies in their day-to-day work.
Assist in designing solutions for the identified needs together with the team (technical and business).
Support the Product Owner (PO) in prioritizing requests, enabling refinements and detailing with the technical team, keeping the backlog up to date and prioritized, and ensuring clarity and estimations of work items (user stories).
Ensure the proper operation of the Client's agile process management and control tools.
Support the identification of risks and impediments and help resolve (eliminate) or escalate them collaboratively with all parties involved.
Monitor team metrics and performance indicators and support improvements in predictability and delivery quality (PDCA).

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience as a Scrum Master in agile teams, preferably within data or technology teams.
Academic background related to technology, data or project management.
Knowledge of other agile methodologies beyond Scrum and complementary agile practices is desirable.
Familiarity with Jira and project management is desirable.
