About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Apply SOLID and KISS principles to produce modular, reusable, and simple code.
  • Apply main Design Patterns (Factory, Strategy, Builder, among others).
  • Experience building RESTful APIs using Python, Django ORM, FastAPI, or Flask.
  • Able to integrate the back-end service with a UI framework in Angular 18+.
  • Excellent Python coding skills and a strong understanding of Python best practices.
  • Experience in software testing with libraries such as pytest.
  • Knowledge of concurrent programming with asyncio, threads, processes and an understanding of the GIL.
  • Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
  • Knowledge of Docker and docker-compose.
  • Experience with messaging-based services (RabbitMQ, Kafka, ServiceBus, Redis).
  • Experience with observability tools such as Datadog, Grafana, ELK.
