About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and evolve backend APIs and services in Golang tailored for a high-request-volume environment.
Contribute to the architecture and implementation of microservices, ensuring scalability, observability, and engineering best practices.
Collaborate closely with other teams (product, frontend, mobile, data, SRE/DevOps) to deliver robust, secure solutions focused on business outcomes.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience with Golang and best practices for project structure.
Solid mastery of concurrency in Go: mindful use of goroutines, channels, context, mutexes, and worker pools.
Maturity in error handling, Clean Code, SOLID principles, and design patterns applied to backend development.
Experience building robust REST APIs.
Hands-on experience with profiling tools and performance optimization.
Practical experience with microservices architectures handling high transactional volumes.
Experience with synchronous and asynchronous inter-service communication using messaging/events (Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar).
Strong understanding of eventual consistency, scalability, and software resilience.
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL or similar) — including modeling, transactions, indexes, and query optimization.
Experience with NoSQL databases and caching technologies (Redis, MongoDB, DynamoDB or similar).
Experience working in Cloud environments (AWS, GCP or Azure).
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
Observability culture: experience with tools such as New Relic, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana or similar.
Familiarity with SLO/SLA concepts, alerting, and runbooks.
Best practices for authentication and authorization (OAuth2, JWT, mTLS).
Focus on API security and protection of sensitive data.
Basic knowledge of Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and secure development practices.
Strong knowledge of gRPC for high-performance inter-service communication.
Previous experience in Delivery, Logistics, or high-transaction FinTechs.
