About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work with CI&T to support a client in the media industry;
- Write clean, maintainable code following software development best practices;
- Design solutions using appropriate frameworks;
- Identify opportunities for improvement;
- Collaborate with team members, including developers, designers, and stakeholders, to ensure project success;
- Conduct code reviews;
- Ensure a stable and productive development environment;
- Willingness to learn to use widely adopted tools in the technology stack;
- Actively participate in solving complex problems, identifying improvement opportunities and proposing innovative solutions;
- Lead projects and mentor other developers;
- Provide onboarding and orientation for new developers joining the team;
- Proactively collaborate with other teams (QA, UX, Design, etc.) to ensure project success;
- Design workflows, create diagrams, and produce technical documentation to facilitate code maintenance and scalability;
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience with React, TypeScript and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript);
- Strong knowledge of Node.js and package managers (npm/pnpm);
- Strong knowledge of bundlers (Webpack, Rollup, etc.);
- Knowledge of GraphQL (preferably with Apollo);
- Strong experience consuming APIs (REST, GraphQL, etc.);
- Solid knowledge of different types of testing (Unit, End-to-End, Integration);
- Experience with CI/CD tools (preferably GitLab CI);
- Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.);
- Ability to perform structured and thorough code reviews;
- Understanding of architectures and design patterns for code maintainability and scalability;
- Preferred:
- Knowledge of monorepo architecture;
- Knowledge of React internals (renderer, reconciler, etc.);
- Familiarity with software development best practices (DRY, KISS, TDA, SoC, SOLID);
- Knowledge of performance analysis and optimization;
- Knowledge of web accessibility;
- Knowledge of collecting and analyzing technical and business metrics;
- Experience with the HTML Canvas API;
- Experience building keyboard-navigable interfaces;
- Experience leading projects;
- Experience solving complex technical problems.
