About the role

  • Provide specialized technical presales support for database solutions to the sales team
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through their cloud journey
  • Qualify new opportunities and assess customers' needs
  • Lead technical database discovery sessions and design optimal solutions
  • Develop proposals, pricing, and presentations for clients
  • Work closely with Cintra's service delivery teams on database architecture
  • Support post-sales delivery to ensure project success

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a dedicated database presales role
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle databases in a technical capacity
  • Practical experience with public cloud platforms
  • Strong technical communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese (or Spanish)
  • Oracle and AWS professional certifications
  • Nice to have
  • Multi-cloud experience (OCI, Google Cloud, Azure)
  • Familiarity with cloud readiness assessment tools such as AWS MAP
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, AWS Aurora, or Google AlloyDB
  • Experience positioning and selling professional and managed services
  • Migration and upgrade project planning and estimation
