About the role

  • Good communication with the team and with the client, providing day-to-day clarity.
  • Participate in technical refinement sessions.
  • Maintain and develop COBOL applications, integrating with databases.
  • Anticipate opportunities and issues, acting quickly and effectively to develop preventive solutions.

Requirements

  • Experience in COBOL programming.
  • Strong knowledge of CICS, DB2, JCL, CHANGEMAN, TSO, VSAM, and DEBUG tools.
  • Experience with DB2 and SQL databases.
  • Familiarity with mainframe development environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with Hexavision.
  • Availability to commute to Osasco twice a week.
