About the role
- Manage and control test suites in ALM Octane, ensuring that all tests are executed according to established standards.
- Create and execute manual and automated tests for Mobile applications developed with Angular and Ionic.
- Perform integration and functional testing of RESTful APIs, ensuring the quality of system integrations.
- Apply and promote the use of the test pyramid, performing root cause analysis and defect management for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate on code versioning using Git, ensuring that changes do not negatively impact software stability.
- Use Agile methodologies for project and task management, actively participating in Scrum and Kanban ceremonies.
- Promote the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence within the team to help solve complex problems.
- Propose improvements to testing processes and application architecture in collaboration with development teams.
- Document and report bugs, track them through to resolution, and suggest improvements to the testing workflow.
- Contribute to regression and performance testing.
Requirements
- Strong experience in test automation using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
- Software testing for Mobile applications built with Angular and Ionic.
- API testing, including manual and automated testing of RESTful APIs.
- Functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and accessibility testing.
- Proficiency in quality processes (test plan, test scenario, test case, test execution, and test evidence).
- Best practices in software testing and test automation.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent teamwork skills and ability to engage and collaborate.
- Proactive and motivated for continuous learning of new technologies and tools.
- Ability to creatively and effectively solve problems.
