About the role
- Provide technical leadership to the QA team and develop the team's maturity
- Design and evolve the quality and test automation program
- Develop automation for APIs (Java + RestAssured) and frontend (Angular/TypeScript)
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Define test strategies (unit, integration, E2E, performance)
- Extract requirements and convert them into test scenarios
- Monitor quality and coverage metrics
- Conduct root cause analyses (RCA) and quality reviews
- Promote a quality culture and Shift-Left practices
- Use AI to optimize test coverage, scenarios, and failure analysis
Requirements
- Solid experience as a Senior QA with a strong focus on automation
- Proficiency in Java + RestAssured (APIs)
- Experience with frontend automation (Angular/TypeScript and tools such as Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright)
- Knowledge of test strategies and quality management
- Experience with CI/CD, Git, and version control
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Experience working with agile methodologies
- Experience applying AI to QA
- Technical leadership profile with strong communication and influencing skills
- Experience with BDD (Cucumber/Gherkin)
- Knowledge of performance testing (JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner)
- Experience with observability tools (Grafana, Dynatrace)
- Experience with advanced CI/CD (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
- Experience with legacy systems and complex integrations
- Advanced use of AI for test generation, test data and predictive analysis
- Previous experience forming and leading QA teams
