About the role

  • Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality software deliverables.
  • Design, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web applications across multiple devices.
  • Conduct thorough testing of web services, particularly REST APIs, and document test results and defects clearly.
  • Participate in the implementation of testing best practices and the testing pyramid.
  • Embrace a proactive and autonomous approach to problem-solving and learning within the team.

Requirements

  • Experience in software testing, including planning, execution, and documentation.
  • Knowledge of the testing pyramid and experience with functional and non-functional testing.
  • Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Behat, Robot).
  • Experience in conducting root cause analyses to pinpoint the underlying causes of issues.
  • Familiarity with issue tracking and project management tools (preferably JIRA).
  • Intermediate English proficiency (reading and writing).
  • Advanced and/or Fluent English (Nice-to-have).
  • Experience with testing web services REST and understanding of API testing tools (Nice-to-have).
  • Proficiency in SQL for creating queries and analyzing database results (Nice-to-have).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participation in Agile projects (Nice-to-have).
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes (Nice-to-have).
