About the role
- Lead the design and implementation of modern web applications, with a strong focus on user-facing behaviors
- Analyze code and application execution for optimization and performance tuning
- Be relentless in the pursuit of continuous improvement

Requirements
- Strong programming skills using TypeScript & JavaScript
- A minimum of 6 years of work experience as a software engineer
- 4+ years of experience with a commercial cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) business
- Extensive, demonstrable experience with modern web development technologies, including React & TypeScript (ideally with experience across the full stack)
- Experience leading software design sessions and collaborating in a multi-disciplinary team setting to propose best-in-class designs for software requirements
- Experience working with User Experience Designers to realize user interface mockups into working software, and involving all stakeholders in review processes
- A natural attention to detail and a drive to create the best possible experience for software users
- Knowledge across the whole development lifecycle from partnership with UX design to development, unit testing, automated functional testing, deployment and monitoring
- Demonstrated experience working with Scrum practices
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including best practices related to coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and deployment
