About the role

  • Lead technical discussions, ensuring clarity and purpose in architectural decisions for development teams.
  • Design scalable, secure, high-performance architectures with a special focus on Azure and AWS.
  • Lead the planning and execution of complex workload migrations to the cloud.
  • Develop and implement standards, guidelines, and best practices for development (including diagnostics for legacy systems).
  • Act as a mentor in the use of AI accelerators to optimize engineering processes and business solutions.
  • Perform code reviews, ensure adherence to engineering standards, and mentor team members.
  • Create and maintain HLAs (High-Level Architectures), ADRs, and technical specifications for various stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Design high-performance, scalable architectures.
  • Experience with services such as AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), Service Bus, Event Hubs, Azure Functions, and API Management.
  • Knowledge of Java 17+ and the Spring ecosystem (Boot/Cloud) for containerized microservices. (Python and Node.js are advantages).
  • Experience with EDA (Event-Driven Architecture), messaging systems (RabbitMQ/Kafka), and SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with Terraform or Bicep.
  • Experience working in environments with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging.
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals and protocols (TCP/IP).
