About the role

  • Create, execute, and document detailed, well-structured test cases.
  • Identify, reproduce, and report bugs with clarity and precision, following the defect lifecycle.
  • Apply a variety of black-box testing techniques, including functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
  • Analyze user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure full test coverage and mitigate risks early.
  • Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams (Developers, Product Managers, and Operations) to drive quality throughout the SDLC.
  • Maintain organized, consistent, and traceable test documentation.
  • Uphold product quality standards and ensure process consistency across the project.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in manual software testing methodologies.
  • Proven ability to create and maintain test plans, defect reports, and traceability matrices.
  • Hands-on experience with defect tracking systems, specifically Jira.
  • Knowledge of SQL for performing basic queries and validating database information.
  • Basic understanding of how APIs work to perform technical validations.
  • High attention to detail and a natural curiosity to understand how things work.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
