About the role

  • Develop and maintain web applications using Node.js and React.
  • Work with backend services written in Go, Kotlin and Python.
  • Implement and manage containers using Docker.
  • Orchestrate services in Kubernetes environments.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Work with PostgreSQL databases for storage, data manipulation and troubleshooting.
  • Implement observability practices using Datadog.
  • Integrate messaging systems such as Kafka for inter-service communication.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and deliver new features.
  • Explore and implement AI-based coding solutions to optimize processes and development, familiar with tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, or Winsurf.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in development with Node.js and React.
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following languages: Go, Kotlin, Python.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL databases.
  • Understanding of observability and monitoring practices with Datadog.
  • Experience with messaging systems, especially Kafka.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture patterns.
  • Understanding of application resilience, scalability and latency.
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate in an agile environment.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to manage and prioritize tasks.
  • Experience with agile processes, including use of Jira and Confluence.
  • Knowledge of tracking-based methods, Merge Request (MR) workflows and software quality.
  • Ability to solve complex problems creatively.
