About the role

  • Continuously monitor system health, creating effective alerts and ensuring proactive incident coverage.
  • Advance observability by instrumenting infrastructure and application metrics and customizations, and support end-to-end troubleshooting.
  • Design and implement observability solutions integrating logs, metrics, traces and events.
  • Create and manage informative dashboards for visualization of critical data.
  • Develop structured logging and implement tracing infrastructure to improve event traceability.
  • Instrument APM (Application Performance Monitoring) with dashboards that provide valuable insights into application performance.
  • Create and manage alerts for effective monitoring and early problem detection.
  • Lead chaos engineering practices by creating and executing hypotheses to test system resilience.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with AWS, including container services and Kubernetes.
  • Skills in process and infrastructure automation.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and distributed observability tools, such as Datadog.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, agile environment.
  • Previous experience in SRE or DevOps roles.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
