About the role

  • Collaborate in defining and executing the testing strategy to ensure continuous, high-quality deliveries;
  • Establish quality processes within the team, considering tools, workflows, and promoting a quality-focused mindset;
  • Assess the quality of delivered software, proposing continuous improvements to both the product and the team's code.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in testing strategies, with a deep understanding of the testing pyramid;
  • Skill in test automation for backend systems, including APIs and Kafka;
  • Experience with BDD (Behavior Driven Development), Gherkin, and tools such as Robot Framework and Playwright.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, with the ability to develop test automation scripts;
  • Familiarity with version control (Git), task management (Jira), and documentation (Confluence);
  • Analytical skills, log reading, and problem-solving ability;
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team;
  • Good communication skills for interacting with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Nice-to-have: Previous experience in CI/CD environments, familiar with tools such as Jenkins or similar.
  • Experience with Appium
