About the role
- Lead a cross-functional development team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Mitigate technical and delivery risks.
- Review and provide input on technical and architectural solutions proposed by the team.
- Manage the team's roadmap and activities, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
- Approve and oversee production deployment planning.
- Monitor production incidents and ensure their resolution.
- Monitor technical and operational metrics.
- Be responsible for the team's rituals (dailies, planning, retrospectives, and PDCA routines with management).
- Ensure planning and estimation of solutions.
- Manage functional and non-functional backlogs, aligning priorities with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical leadership of development teams.
- Proficiency in Java and the Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data).
- Strong knowledge of software architecture (microservices, RESTful APIs, design patterns, and SOLID principles).
- Experience with version control tools (Git) and dependency management.
- Experience managing backlogs, roadmaps, and agile ceremonies (Scrum, Kanban, or similar).
- Ability to make architectural decisions and guide the team on medium- to high-complexity solutions.
- Certifications in agile methodologies (CSM, PMI-ACP).
- Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Automated testing practices (JUnit, Mockito) and code quality tools (SonarQube).
- Experience with management and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.).
- Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Experience coaching and mentoring development teams.
