About the role

  • Design the organization's Central Data Governance Strategy (2026–2028) and guide its execution across subareas.
  • Develop, review and maintain the corporate data policy suite (Access, Quality, Privacy, Retention, Classification, Cost & Efficiency).
  • Define the Governance Seal model (quality, security, privacy, documentation, lifecycle, cost/performance criteria) with an auditable checklist.
  • Model roles and responsibilities (Owner, Steward, Custodian, Producer, Consumer) and publish the RACI matrix by domain and for each critical data asset.
  • Co-develop, with Legal/Security/Privacy, rules for handling sensitive and regulated data (PII/PCI/etc.) aligned with LGPD/GDPR.
  • Advise the migration to GCP, translating policies into actionable controls and governance best practices on the platform.

Requirements

  • Deep knowledge of Data Governance frameworks (DAMA, DCAM).
  • Experience with data policies: access, quality, privacy, classification, retention and cost/efficiency.
  • Proficiency in LGPD/GDPR and data security/compliance requirements.
  • Ability to model roles and responsibilities and design RACI matrices.
  • Skill in translating business needs and risk into objective rules and criteria (Governance Seal).
  • Excellent communication and engagement with executives and corporate stakeholders.
  • Previous experience advising migration/modernization on GCP (BigQuery, Dataplex/Data Catalog, IAM, DLP).
  • Experience in multinational governance contexts.
