About the role
- Perform manual data entry and validate documents when OCR automation fails.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of processed data.
- Provide support during peak workloads and operational gaps.
- Define, document, and improve end-to-end back-office processes for OCR exception handling.
- Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality controls, and productivity benchmarks.
- Update OCR templates in response to changes in source documents.
- Continuously optimize workflows to reduce backlog, delays, and rework.
- Track and report key metrics such as throughput, accuracy, backlog, turnaround time, and exceptions.
- Identify bottlenecks, risks, and performance issues, and implement corrective actions.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in English (spoken and written) to interact with U.S. clients.
- Ability to communicate effectively in Portuguese.
- Experience managing operational issues and performing root cause analysis for process failures.
- Proactively identify bottlenecks and recommend workflow improvements.
- Ability to define, document, and improve back-office processes, including creating SOPs and quality controls.
- Experience monitoring performance metrics such as throughput, accuracy, and turnaround time.
- Availability to work flexible hours.
- Familiarity with data entry systems and OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technologies.
