About the role

  • Will work on Java/Spring Boot backend development for an iOS (iPad) app in secure, resilient, and scalable cloud environments.
  • Will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features, integrate with APIs, and implement caching mechanisms following software best practices, ensuring high-quality deliveries aligned with team and client expectations.
  • Your expertise will support technical decisions, fostering an environment of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a reference for day-to-day technical decisions, proposing improvements and scalable solutions.
  • Integrate with secure, resilient, and scalable cloud environments.
  • Build BFF (Backend-for-Frontend) and microservices architectures for deployment on Kubernetes (EKS).
  • Build CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure and traceable releases.
  • Ensure full observability (logs, metrics, alerts).

Requirements

  • Experience as a Java/Spring Boot developer.
  • Knowledge of Python.
  • Knowledge of AWS Cloud (Lambdas, SQS, EKS).
  • Serve as a mature, collaborative technical reference with a quality-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to influence technical decisions and raise the team's level.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and focus on operational reliability.
  • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Differentials:
  • Experience with offline-first applications (caching/synchronization).
  • Experience with caching solutions (Redis and similar).
  • Experience in corporate and regulated environments.
  • Experience working with API-driven architectures and microservices.
  • Experience with solutions that use Artificial Intelligence.
  • Experience communicating directly with clients' technical leadership.
  • Desired knowledge:
