About the role

  • Develop and enhance services, APIs and integrations using Node.js and Python.
  • Technically refine stories by proposing solutions, mitigating risks and standardizing contracts.
  • Implement automated tests (unit, integration, contract) and continuous quality checks.
  • Integrate/consume Generative AI APIs with a focus on security, cost and latency.
  • Apply coding best practices, perform code reviews, manage versioning and follow architectural patterns.
  • Evolve architecture: modularization, scalability, caching, queues/events.
  • Operationalize Kubernetes (deployment, autoscaling, RBAC, namespaces, policies).
  • Evaluate and deploy open-source tools (e.g., Kong, OpenTelemetry, ArgoCD, Keycloak).
  • Strengthen observability (logs, metrics, tracing) and SRE fundamentals (SLIs/SLOs, alerts).
  • Contribute to CI/CD, IaC and automation (build, test, release, provisioning).
  • Document technical decisions, ADRs, runbooks and integration guides.

Requirements

  • Experience with Node.js (Next.js, NestJS or Express) and Python.
  • Experience with REST APIs and, preferably, GraphQL/Webhooks.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices (IaC, automation, containers, orchestration).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  • Basic knowledge of information security and secrets management.
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
  • Familiarity with observability (logs, metrics, tracing).
  • Experience with automated testing and continuous quality assurance.
  • Interest in and experience with AI tools applied to software development.
  • Good technical communication and collaboration skills for multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience with AI tools and a desire to promote the use of Artificial Intelligence in software development.
