About the role
- AI Architecture & Solutions Consulting
- Complex Systems Design: Design end-to-end technical architecture, deciding infrastructure (cloud), data and model components.
- A2A (Agent-to-Agent) Ecosystems: Design interaction protocols for multi-agent systems, defining how autonomous agents share memory, negotiate tasks and handle failures asynchronously without direct human supervision.
- Trade-off Evaluation: Act as a consultant to make technical decisions between deterministic approaches (classical ML / rules) vs. probabilistic approaches (GenAI), ensuring explainability and lower cost.
- Definition of Standards and Technical Governance
- Blueprints & Golden Paths: Create reference technical documentation, Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) and architecture templates to accelerate solution delivery by engineering teams.
- Security and Compliance (Security by Design): Establish AI security standards such as use of VPC Service Controls, PII obfuscation before inference, granular access control (IAM), encryption, and more.
- Technology Curation: Continuously evaluate new tools, models and techniques on the market and approve which should be part of the company’s tech stack.
- FinOps & Operational Efficiency
- Cost Engineering: Design solutions focused on TCO (Total Cost of Ownership). Calculate the economic feasibility of running proprietary models (Gemini 1.5 Pro) versus hosted open models (Gemma/Llama) or serverless APIs.
- Data Strategy for AI: Guide the architecture of Feature Stores and Vector Stores, ensuring data is ready both for training predictive models and for grounding (RAG) generative models.
Requirements
- Hybrid AI Expertise: Deep theoretical and practical knowledge in both traditional machine learning (scikit-learn, forecasting, classification) and GenAI (transformers, LLMs, diffusion models).
- Cloud Architecture Proficiency (Preferably GCP): Proven ability to design enterprise solutions using Google Cloud components (Vertex AI, BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Run).
- Solutions Architecture: Strong knowledge of architectural styles (microservices, REST, monoliths, DDD, etc.) and architectural patterns; excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and analytical skills.
- Software Architecture: Solid experience with architectural patterns (CQRS, RESTful, EDA, etc.) and API design.
- Agent Frameworks: Experience designing state flows and orchestration using tools such as Google ADK, LangGraph, CrewAI or native cloud orchestrators.
