About the role

  • Adapt applications using PowerBuilder, focusing on converting the CNPJ to an alphanumeric format in accordance with Bacen (Central Bank of Brazil) regulations.
  • Leverage artificial intelligence extensively to identify areas requiring changes and implement necessary code modifications.
  • Work autonomously, understanding business workflows and stakeholder needs to ensure solutions meet requirements.
  • Create and run unit tests to validate the quality and functionality of developed code.
  • Perform impact analysis of changes to ensure modifications do not negatively affect other parts of the system.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Document processes and procedures related to software development and maintenance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience developing with PowerBuilder (version 8 or higher).
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases, preferably Oracle or SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with system integration concepts and APIs.
  • Ability to work with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Ability to work autonomously and take initiative in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
