About the role
- Ensure the quality and functionality of the products developed through appropriate strategies and tools.
- Identify and report potential flaws, bugs, or issues in the software.
- Document the tests conducted, producing reports and evidence to support quality assessment and issue tracking.
Requirements
- Develop test plans, defining strategies and approaches to evaluate software functionality and usability.
- Design and execute functional, exploratory, regression, performance, security, and other tests as required by the project.
- Automate test scenarios and/or support the development team using appropriate tools to increase test efficiency and coverage.
- Identify root causes of detected defects, perform in-depth analysis, and work actively with the development team to reduce defect rates.
- Validate that the software complies with all established business rules, ensuring correct operation and achievement of expected outcomes.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other team members to resolve issues and drive continuous software improvements.
- Document executed tests, producing reports and evidence to aid quality assessment and issue tracking.
- Participate in planning meetings and code reviews to provide insights on quality and potential improvements.
- Analyze requirements and specifications to ensure test scenarios cover all aspects of the software.
- Stay current on best practices and testing tools, continuously enhancing skills and technical knowledge.
- Work toward delivering defect-free software to customers, aiming for zero defects in production.
- Apply and maintain the test pyramid (testing layers/levels) to ensure proper coverage.
- Collect and interpret quality metrics to support initiatives such as root cause analysis (RCA).
- Implement and improve automation algorithms and processes using AI techniques to streamline workflows, reduce delivery time, and increase operational efficiency. Develop and maintain systems that support continuous delivery and effective integration of new technologies, aligned with the /Flow strategy.
