About the role
- Understand business requirements, analyze needs, and validate NGSS solution architecture across international use cases
- Maintain strong knowledge of NGSS applications, services, data, and integrations, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Translate requirements into technical specifications and collaborate on solution documentation, including APIs, models, and diagrams
- Lead solution hand-offs, support teams through the development lifecycle, manage the backlog, identify dependencies and gaps, and validate delivered features
- Analyze current configurations and data, and contribute to migration strategies, tools, and implementation approaches.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in English
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology, or Computer/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- At least three years of relevant IT experience working on large-scale application initiatives
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; able to engage in business-level discussions with stakeholders and in technical discussions with peers
- Ability to understand complex technical concepts and clearly communicate them verbally and in writing
- Experience working with web-based application development teams
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems independently
- Working knowledge of RESTful API concepts; experience with OpenAPI and Postman
- Experience diagnosing application issues by reviewing log files; experience with Splunk or other APM tools
- Proficient with JSON
- Working knowledge of database concepts
- Working knowledge of one or more programming languages; C# experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of one or more operating systems; Unix/Linux experience is a plus
- Knowledge of UML or a similar modeling language is a plus
- Experience in an Agile environment is a plus
