About the role

  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks for web applications, following software development best practices.
  • Create and execute automated tests, ensuring coverage of critical features and relevant user scenarios.
  • Analyze automated test results, identify and report bugs clearly and accurately using tracking tools.
  • Actively participate across the software development lifecycle, from planning to release, contributing to the definition of the test strategy.

Requirements

  • Experience in software test automation with a focus on web applications.
  • Experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
  • Experience with different types of automated tests (integration, functional, end-to-end).
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and experience participating in agile ceremonies.
  • Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
  • Experience in creating and executing test plans.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Nice to have:
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD and integrating automated tests into pipelines.
  • Familiarity with manual testing and creating test cases.
  • Experience with root cause analysis (RCA) and constructing test pyramids.
