About the role
- Develop and evolve an internal development platform (IDP) focused on cloud provisioning, automation, and standardization.
- Implement and maintain robust automation, CI/CD, observability, and security practices at the infrastructure level.
- Collaborate with development, security, and SRE teams to promote a strong platform engineering culture.
- Ensure the platform is scalable, resilient, secure, and user-friendly, supporting multiple teams and use cases.
- Design architectures, patterns, tools, and workflows that increase teams' efficiency and delivery velocity.
Requirements
- Strong experience with cloud providers (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Infrastructure as Data.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, and environment integrations.
- Hands-on profile with a strong mindset for automation, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Experience with cloud security, threat mitigation, and applying security best practices.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and platform engineering patterns.
- Advanced knowledge or experience with:
- Backstage
- Kubernetes (administration, operators, extensions)
- Crossplane, ArgoCD, Terraform
- Istio / Envoy
- Languages such as Go, Python, or Node.js
