About the role
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Set up container orchestration environments using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
- Configure observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK).
- Manage cloud-based infrastructure and services in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Automate deployment, scaling, and maintenance of production environments.
- Collaborate with developers, SREs, and architects to ensure efficient and secure software delivery.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure and service issues.
- Ensure security best practices (DevSecOps) are followed across pipelines and infrastructure.
- Contribute to scripts and tooling for automation of operational tasks and audits.
- Support platform governance, documentation, and cross-team enablement efforts.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines, GitLab CI).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and version control (Git).
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE, or OpenShift).
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana, CloudWatch).
- Advanced English (spoken and written) to work with international stakeholders.
- Nice to Have:
- Exposure to GitOps practices and tools (ArgoCD, Flux).
- Experience in DevSecOps, vulnerability scanning, and security hardening.
- Experience in managing hybrid environments (cloud/on-prem).
- Certifications such as AWS DevOps Engineer, CKA, Azure DevOps Engineer, or equivalent.
