About the role
- Play a pivotal role in reimagining workflows, developing concepts, and designing new interactions and components.
- Bring simplicity, transparency, and delight to the complex finance industry.
- Take a hands-on approach with a strong focus on simplifying complex, legacy mortgage processes.
- Participate in every phase of the product design lifecycle — from discovery and interaction design to visual execution.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a full-time product designer and a portfolio demonstrating exceptional product design quality.
- Deep proficiency with Figma, experience managing design systems, crafting thoughtful interactions, and designing responsively.
- Solid knowledge of design best practices.
- Design user experiences that transform how lending institutions process loan applications.
- Lead projects and initiatives, defining strategy and UX vision through cross-functional collaboration and alignment.
- Create scalable design foundations applicable across diverse customers and loan product offerings.
- Raise the craft of the design team and inspire progress toward a meaningful vision.
- Reimagine internal processes for loan origination and property transactions.
- Excellent visual design skills and meticulous attention to interaction detail.
- Systems thinker who can convert manual processes into streamlined digital experiences.
- Strong communicator and collaborator, able to balance engineering, customer, and product constraints with user needs.
- Proactive, resourceful self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and can make decisions with imperfect data.
- Competent researcher able to apply core UX research methods to ensure building the right solutions.
