About the role
- Own the end-to-end test strategy and execution to ensure each release meets both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Define and maintain test plans, traceability, and entry/exit criteria.
- Write and execute manual and automated tests (functional, regression, exploratory).
- Collaborate with teams on shared suites (API tests in Postman, automation scripts review).
- Integrate and monitor tests in CI/CD pipelines (shift-left approach)
- Coordinate test data/environments with DevOps, manage fixtures/stubs.
- Log detailed, reproducible bug reports and assist in defect triage.
- Provide test results and release readiness reports to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience with any automation framework (Playwright/JavaScript preferred). *automation experience is a must have*
- Experience with manual testing with Databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.)
- Familiarity with JMeter for backend automation
- Understanding of the testing pyramid and types: Smoke, UI, API, Regression, Accessibility.
- Knowledge of metrics, dashboards, and QA reporting tools.
- Familiarity with Git, SQL, Postman, and Jira/Scrum processes.
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD and Continuous Validation pipelines.
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders and present to leadership.
- Strong English (upper-intermediate or above) for interactions with our client and multicultural team.
