About the role
- Own the end-to-end test strategy and execution to ensure each release meets both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Define and maintain test plans, traceability matrices, and entry/exit criteria.
- Design, write, and execute manual and automated tests (functional, regression, exploratory).
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams on shared test suites (including API tests in Postman) and review automation scripts.
- Integrate and monitor tests within CI/CD pipelines following a shift-left approach.
- Coordinate test data and environments with DevOps; manage fixtures and stubs.
- Log detailed, reproducible bug reports and participate in defect triage.
- Provide test results and release readiness reports to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Automation experience is required; experience with any automation framework (Playwright/JavaScript preferred).
- Experience with manual testing and working with databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.).
- Familiarity with JMeter for backend automation.
- Solid understanding of the testing pyramid and test types: smoke, UI, API, regression, accessibility.
- Experience with metrics, dashboards, and QA reporting tools.
- Proficient with Git, SQL, Postman, and Jira/Scrum processes.
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD and continuous validation pipelines.
- Strong stakeholder communication skills and ability to present to leadership.
- Strong English (upper-intermediate or above) for interactions with clients and a multicultural team.
- Nice-to-have skills:
- Experience with JMeter (load/performance testing).
- Experience configuring initial automation projects.
- Experience with database automation projects.
