About the role
- Manage and inspire the development team, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning;
- Extract business capabilities from legacy systems and translate them into clear functional requirements for the new system. Use AI approaches, such as GitHub Copilot and RAGs (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), to automate and accelerate this transformation process;
- Participate in agile ceremonies—daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives—ensuring team efficiency and alignment;
- Define and prioritize the development backlog, aligning deliverables with business needs and ensuring continuous value delivery;
- Design and develop robust, scalable technical solutions, ensuring quality and applicability of new features;
- Conduct rigorous code reviews to ensure compliance with software engineering best practices and promote technical quality;
- Foster an environment of professional growth and knowledge sharing, encouraging the team to continuously learn and apply new technologies.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Java/Spring and experience developing scalable solutions;
- Proficiency in unit and automated testing to ensure application robustness;
- Experience with microservices architectures and asynchronous communication (queues and topics);
- Experience with the Azure platform and CI/CD pipelines;
- Ability to work with Git and a curiosity to learn new technologies;
- Excellent communication skills and strong teamwork capability;
- Experience with agile methodologies and adaptability to new situations.
- Nice-to-have:
- Knowledge of Angular and Node.js;
- Experience with Kubernetes and containers;
- Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence applied to software development.
