Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze complex operational, financial, customer, claims, eligibility, and program data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Validate, reconcile, and interpret data from multiple internal and external sources to ensure reliability and accuracy
Develop actionable insights, recommendations, and reporting narratives for business stakeholders and leadership teams
Perform data cleansing, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis to identify and resolve data quality issues
Conduct trend analysis, performance monitoring, and outcome measurement to support strategic and operational decisions
Apply strong analytical judgment to ensure data-driven conclusions are meaningful and actionable
Support enterprise data and reporting platforms, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
Work with SQL, relational databases, and structured data environments to support analytics and reporting initiatives
Document and understand end-to-end data flows across systems, vendors, and business functions
Support vendor relationships related to data files, reporting, and inbound/outbound data exchanges
Ensure adherence to standard data exchange protocols and file layouts, including ANSI 834, 837, and related formats
Coordinate with IT teams and external partners to ensure secure, timely, and accurate data transmission
Leverage automation, AI-assisted tools, and emerging technologies to improve efficiency, data quality, and insight generation
Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and modernize enterprise analytics processes
Contribute to analytics governance, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, or related field
5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data-focused roles
Experience supporting enterprise reporting platforms and complex data environments
Strong working knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and data validation techniques
Advanced Excel skills; experience with BI and analytics tools strongly preferred
Experience in healthcare, financial services, retirement, insurance, or other regulated industries preferred
