Work collaboratively with the Department to coordinate programs and services for patients and families
Provide program coordination related to department programs and services
Provide a high level of customer service
Support appropriate patient care based on age, cultural, and spiritual needs

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum one (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting
Bachelor's degree in human services, business, or related field
Knowledge and ability to provide appropriate patient care according to age, cultural, and spiritual needs
Ability to set goals and judge results in accordance with high standards
Ability to develop new ideas and use technology to advance care
Ability to promote teamwork and exceed patient and family expectations
Ability to solve patient care and operational problems
Basic Life Support (BLS) required
Ability to lift and carry 40–50 lbs.
Ability to push/pull approximately 150–200 lbs. and laterally transfer patients of 150–200 lbs.
Ability to perform required physical activities, including bending, climbing, keyboard use/repetitive motion, pushing/pulling, reaching, sitting, squatting/kneeling/crawling, standing, walking, twisting, and fine-motor activities
Ability to work around airborne communicable disease, bloodborne pathogens, chemicals, dust/particulate matter, extreme noise, extreme temperatures, radiation, and uneven surfaces/elevations
Preferred: Three (3) years of healthcare experience
Preferred: Graduate of an accredited vocational school with completed Medical Assistant requirements
Preferred: Medical Assistant certification
Preferred: Bilingual English/Spanish
