About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for scheduling complex procedures and appointments
  • Facilitates the scheduling and registration process and optimizes efficiencies and workflows
  • Acts as a liaison between family, insurance carrier, physician office, and clinical professionals to assure scheduling occurs in a highly accurate and timely manner
  • Assists with covering for the front office as needed.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum one (1) year of scheduling and registration experience in a healthcare setting using a computerized scheduling system
  • Experience coordinating and scheduling complex procedures is preferred
  • Required: High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent
  • Preferred: Associate degree in related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of computer software, i.e. Microsoft products.
  • Ability to pleasantly handle interruptions in work-tasks due to greeting people & answering a multiple phone line.
