About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for scheduling complex procedures and appointments
- Facilitates the scheduling and registration process and optimizes efficiencies and workflows
- Acts as a liaison between family, insurance carrier, physician office, and clinical professionals to assure scheduling occurs in a highly accurate and timely manner
- Assists with covering for the front office as needed.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum one (1) year of scheduling and registration experience in a healthcare setting using a computerized scheduling system
- Experience coordinating and scheduling complex procedures is preferred
- Required: High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent
- Preferred: Associate degree in related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of computer software, i.e. Microsoft products.
- Ability to pleasantly handle interruptions in work-tasks due to greeting people & answering a multiple phone line.
