About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, test, and build the backend software which delivers Chloris Geospatial’s unique insights
- Work closely with data scientists to optimize and integrate their code in order to bring it to production
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 4+ years of experience with Python or similar language
- Understanding of Object Oriented and Functional Programming paradigms
- Independent and self-motivated with excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB
- Experience with Open Source Geospatial tools such as GDAL, Geopandas, Rasterio, Xarray, etc
