About the role
- Work closely with the Director of Special Legal Projects and staff on impact litigation and systemic change projects
- Conduct client interviewing
- Perform legal research and writing to support potential or ongoing litigation
- Attend partnership meetings as needed
- Support Brief Service team to provide client-centered intakes
Requirements
- Law clerk applicants must be current law students or recent law school graduates
- Must be able to work at least 20 hours per week up to full time
- Some daytime hours are needed
- Candidates who receive a conditional offer will be subject to a background check
