About the role

  • Work closely with the Director of Special Legal Projects and staff on impact litigation and systemic change projects
  • Conduct client interviewing
  • Perform legal research and writing to support potential or ongoing litigation
  • Attend partnership meetings as needed
  • Support Brief Service team to provide client-centered intakes

Requirements

  • Law clerk applicants must be current law students or recent law school graduates
  • Must be able to work at least 20 hours per week up to full time
  • Some daytime hours are needed
  • Candidates who receive a conditional offer will be subject to a background check
