About the role
- Work with the intake team to determine how Children’s Law Center can help community members
- Support brief services and provide client-centered, timely intakes
- Provide support with coordinated intake processes and related projects
- Work on Special Legal Projects including systemic change, impact litigation, and partnerships
- Engage in extensive client contact, primarily by phone
- Collaborate with the Brief Service team and other internal teams
- Maintain flexible hours; law clerks required to work minimum 20 hours per week
Requirements
- Law clerk applicants must be current law students or recent law school graduates
- Law clerks will need to work a minimum of 20 hours a week
- Ability to perform extensive client contact, much of it over the phone

- Must be able to work remote or hybrid with some in-person work at Children’s Law Center’s DC office
